My name is Ryan Hicks and I’m 22 years old.
I am from the small town of Monticello and currently reside in West Lafayette, Indiana while enrolled at Purdue University.
I’m majoring in Computer Graphics Technology and minoring in Organizational Leadership and Supervision.
I’m heavily into GFX editing, web publishing, visual imagery, and anything else that might deal with those subjects. I am currently doing freelance work, but do work for hire, and if needed please contact me for a quote.
Photography has quickly become a passion of mine, although I’ve been shooting since 2002.
It helps me escape from the normal daily life, and has taught me to view the world completely different.
I see everything as if I’m ALWAYS looking through my camera and how i could compose a scene or a situation.
Capturing these moments not only keeps my memories fresh, but it also allows the individuals that view them to engage in how the world reflects on me.
I love to be engaged in visual imagery as well as getting others to be moved by it.

I started out not knowing a darn thing about it and was quickly turned on by my dad buying the family a dSLR, the canon 300d. To which I learned on for four and a half years and finally sold it in year of 2008.
I quickly gathered all the information I could find on the internet and read and read.

As far as my personality goes; I am pretty laid back and easy going. I’m not real big into drama or arguments and tend to run away from them. I like to go out and have fun and do whatever will keep me from sitting around for long periods of time.
